Thanks for love & support from Brisbane!
This was the first time for Reach & Match to be hosting workshops in the Brisbane region between 9-11 November, 2015. We were delighted to present Reach & Match Programme to various Early Learning Centres, Mainstream and Special Schools in Brisbane.
We met the Principal Susan Christensen from Mount Ommaney Special School. She is a very proactive, passionate and friendly lady; and she immediately understood how Reach & Match will work for their children and its unique value. It’s very exciting to announce that we are going to apply the kit in their school. The school has provided an Early Childhood Development Program which support children from birth to 5 years with needs of ASD, Intellectual impairment, Physical impairment, Speech language impairment, Visual impairment and Hearing impairment. We believe Reach & Match will benefit most of their students greatly in learning essential childhood skills.

I was also invited to provide a presentation to the Narbethong State Special School, this was one of my greatest experience to visit the beautiful people in the school as well as other visiting teachers. The school provides specialist teaching for students with visual impairments and additional disabilities. Also based on site at Narbethong are the regionwide Orientation and Mobility team and the state-wide Paediatric Low Vision Clinic.
The teachers are very passionate, creative and open to new ideas! We will also bring several Reach & Match Learning Kits to the school too, and we really look forward to seeing their students’ progress for the programme.
